(AhlulBayt News Agency) - ISIS terrorists kidnapped 17 women in southwestern Kirkuk, the Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Sha'bi)) said on Saturday.
Hassan al-Soufi, a senior commander of the PMU said the women were kidnapped because of an attempt to flee a region held by the extremist group in al-Zab region towards Salahuddin’s town of Shirqat, according to IraqiNews.
“Those elements herded the kidnapped women to central Hawija,” Soufi said.
The women were accused of “abandoning the land of the caliphate and collaborating for the smuggling of civilians towards Kirkuk and Salahuddin provinces,” according to Soufi.
